This is a splash art project that I made for my Digital Illustration class in school! The name of this character is King Kagirim (Original Character by Lara Pascual).

I started by making a rough sketch of the pose I wanted him to be in.

I then redrew the character with clearer lines so that it would be easier to draw the lineart.

I decided to replace the background by bringing the "monsters" closer and in contact with the character himself. Having an object (or creature) in the foreground and background of your character adds more dimension to your artwork!
